We are looking for a Sous Chef (m/f/d) for our new, upscale steakhouse concept featuring a stylish Havana Club atmosphere. The culinary focus is on high-quality grilled meats and fish, paired with modern flavors inspired by Latin American and Caribbean cuisine.

Responsibilities:

Supporting and standing in for the head chef in day-to-day operations
Responsibility for mise en place and smooth kitchen operations
How to Cook High-Quality Meat and Fish on the Grill
Proper handling of various cuts of meat, types of fish, and degrees of doneness
Ensuring consistently high product and preparation quality
Shared responsibility for food costs, inventory management, and efficient product utilization
Compliance with Hygiene and Quality Standards
Contributing to the further development of the culinary concept

Skills:

Several years of experience as a sous chef or in a comparable position
Extensive experience in a high-end steakhouse, grill, or seafood restaurant
Extensive expertise in meat and fish
Proper handling of premium cuts, different grades of fish, and various cooking techniques
Strong knowledge of food cost and kitchen organization
a strong focus on quality and products
A structured, resilient, and team-oriented approach to work
A hands-on approach and a passion for high-quality dining
