Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming our international guests and coordinating luggage and parking services
  • Fulfilling all kinds of unique guest requests – “THE ART OF BEING UNIQUE”
  • Personalized on-site guest services, including recommendations for restaurants, attractions, activities, and cultural events in the city of Düsseldorf and the surrounding area
  • Arranging transfers, tickets, restaurant reservations, limousine and chauffeur services for our guests
  • Handling guest complaints professionally and turning them into a positive experience for the guest—“creating surprises”
  • Cross-departmental collaboration with the Rooms and F&B departments to ensure a seamless experience for guests and residents of the AQ from arrival through departure

Skills:

  • Several years of professional experience in the concierge department of a luxury hotel or in a comparable guest services role
  • Excellent knowledge of the cultural landscape in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus; strong organizational skills, the ability to handle pressure, and the ability to fulfill all guests’ requests in a solution-oriented manner with an open and friendly demeanor
  • A strong focus on guests, a high sense of responsibility and commitment to quality, discretion, and professionalism
  • Experience using Opera, as well as knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • a Class B driver’s license
  • Membership in the association “Die Goldenen Schlüssel Deutschland e.V.” is desirable
